Of Course #NeverTrump Is Supporting Hillary!

Ace of Spades HQ:

Barring some sort of completely unexpected happening between now and November 8th, either Hillary Clinton or Donald Trump will be elected president. One or both of them could die, and other sundry unlikely things, but there is no way to predict those anyway.

Gary Johnson, or Bernie Sanders, etc is not going to be elected. There may be more votes for a 3rd party candidate than other "typical years", or there may not, but let's face it, Johnson isn't going to come CLOSE to what Ross Perot did in '92 with 20%, AND PEROT STILL LOST!

Yes, we live in intellectually unserious times when people "identify as". or "think that", or "imagine" an endless number of things like "your vote is a message".  No, your vote is a VOTE, for a candidate that either wins or loses. If they lose, then your vote is as worthless as that lottery ticket you bought that paid back NOTHING. You are "investing" a small amount of time and effort to go vote -- just like when you "invest"  in a lottery ticket. It pays off with a "win", or it doesn't,  and that is that.

At least in the case of the lottery ticket, you DO send a strong "message" that you don't understand statistics!

If you WANT there to be a viable third party, by ALL MEANS, get BUSY -- elect local candidates of that party, figure out what it's platform is. Build a base of supporters, funders, workers, messaging, etc, etc. When there are say "30" candidates from your desired party in Congress, THEN if you get a REALLY special, well known, etc candidate -- like a less crazy Ross Perot, THEN you have a legitimate chance of casting a ballot for that candidate and WINNING rather than just helping to elect Bill Clinton! I know ... I voted for BOTH Ross Perot and Jesse Ventura!

The whole linked column is worth reading -- if you have any fantasies about such foolishness. If not, it too is a waste of time -- time spent trying to make a case the earth is flat is wasted time.
All choices have consequences. By supporting Trump, I am responsible for the consequences of a Trump victory -- and those consequences could indeed be dire.
But a childish morally-unserious fantasy has infected the #NeverTrump not-so-intellgentsia, that they can agitate for Hillary Clinton -- by relentlessly disparaging Trump -- and somehow, they are not responsible for the consequences of the Hillary presidency they are bucking for.
Even the choice to CONSIDER the foolishness that you can be "against Trump", but somehow not helping Hillary has consequences. It means that at least in the case "#NeverTrump you are being intellectually sloppy and allowing yourself to behave in a childish fashion. We ALL do that sort of thing, but claiming that we can do it without consequence is seriously indefensible.

When you have a hangover in the AM and you don't believe that it is consequence of your poor choice the night before, you are in in a mentally bad place.

The fact that this discussion is even going on, sadly with some people that are MUCH smarter than that (Jonah Goldberg), is yet another sign we are inhabiting an unknown territory called BOistan where logic and meaning have no bearing!

Michael Moore, Trump, Understanding TP

5 Reasons Why Trump Will Win:

My hat is off to Michael Moore for the honesty he displays in this column. For understanding the way that the mind of "The Party" (TP-D) and it's acolytes "think" or more accurately "believe", this is an excellent glimpse.

The first insight comes early:

We want to - we need to - hope for the best because, frankly, life is already a shit show and it’s hard enough struggling to get by from paycheck to paycheck. We can’t handle much more bad news. So our mental state goes to default when something scary is actually, truly happening.
Seek life is not a "gift", or to be "cherished" -- it is a "shit show". We wrongly want to "hope", but hope is BAD when it is an INDIVIDUAL hope. The next paragraph is a wonderful insight into the liberal religion.

Don’t get me wrong. I have great hope for the country I live in. Things are better. The left has won the cultural wars. Gays and lesbians can get married. A majority of Americans now take the liberal position on just about every polling question posed to them: Equal pay for women - check. Abortion should be legal - check. Stronger environmental laws - check. More gun control - check. Legalize marijuana - check. A huge shift has taken place - just ask the socialist who won 22 states this year. And there is no doubt in my mind that if people could vote from their couch at home on their X-box or PlayStation, Hillary would win in a landslide.
He assumes he is speaking to his own tribe here and he is honest. He doesn't mention "America", because the old ideas of "America" are an embarrassment to him. He FREELY admits that "the left has WON!" ... if voting was no effort whatsoever ... "automatic", TP would be locked into power forever! Nirvana! But see, voting in the US, with "mail in ballots", automatic registration, no ID requirements, etc is still TOO HARD for the constituency that the left panders to!

He assumes that Trump will take Wisconsin, Michigan, Indiana, Ohio and Pennsylvania BECAUSE

From Green Bay to Pittsburgh, this, my friends, is the middle of England - broken, depressed, struggling, the smokestacks strewn across the countryside with the carcass of what we use to call the Middle Class. Angry, embittered working (and nonworking) people who were lied to by the trickle-down of Reagan and abandoned by Democrats who still try to talk a good line but are really just looking forward to rub one out with a lobbyist from Goldman Sachs who’ll write them nice big check before leaving the room. What happened in the UK with Brexit is going to happen here.
Reagan assumed that Americans would COMPETE AND WIN -- not stream back to Democrats in hopes of a handout only to find that the handouts were bitter pills to swallow next to jobs with futures. The point is that Moore knows that TP screwed those states over, and his OK with that unless it allows Trump to win!

That’s a small peek into the mind of the Endangered White Male. There is a sense that the power has slipped out of their hands, that their way of doing things is no longer how things are done.
Michael Moore is a rather hefty multimillionaire white male, but he identifies as "a wonderful person". Much like Hildebeast lamenting income inequality in a $12K potato sack, irony isn't something that the left brain registers. The people that don't want to be ruled by Hildebeast and Michael are ungrateful rubes -- even though he just admitted that they sold them out and left them to rot. Consistency, caring, and least of all reason, are not welcome in the lefty brain.

Can we speak honestly, just among ourselves? And before we do, let me state, I actually like Hillary - a lot - and I think she has been given a bad rap she doesn’t deserve. But her vote for the Iraq War made me promise her that I would never vote for her again. To date, I haven’t broken that promise. For the sake of preventing a proto-fascist from becoming our commander-in-chief, I’m breaking that promise.
Truth, honesty? Ted Cruz broke a promise to support the nominee at the convention and certainly to me, HE IS DONE. I suspect he is DONE with 80%+ of people that describe themselves as conservative. What is a "promise" from a liberal worth? NOTHING. Got that? NOTHING!!! Know enough liberals and you will see it over and over. "They meant well, they had to follow their heart, they learned hard lessons from life,  they are smarter now, etc, etc". As a CHRISTIAN conservative, I must forgive liberals "70x7" (infinite) times and love them. That isn't ALL that hard -- we won't go into the favorite moose sins that get confessed over and over and ... well you get the picture,  at communion. The difference is that liberals believe that divorcing the one you swore to stay with forever because "you had to follow your heart" (or your penis) is a VIRTUE!

So Moore laments that Hillary has changed positions a lot (like he just did), and how it is hard to get the base fired up for an old lady that lies even when she doesn't have to, enables a serial woman abuser and sucks hundreds of millions from everyone from Wall Street to terrorist foreign governments (Saudi Arabia) to support a lavish lifestyle and an extremely poor taste in clothes. But hey, that is just the way it is -- liberals are "like that", and dammit, their folks ought to come out and support them!

He closes it out with thoughts that young Bernie voters will be depressed -- they won't vote Trump, but they won't be busy dragging out the vote and they may stay home.

His other point he calls the "Ventura effect" -- which I agree with him a bit on. I think given the times, there IS the idea that "if W or BO could be president, ANYONE could be". We tried both of them and people said they were going to be awful, but we lived! It's a lot like driving fast, drinking too much, etc -- W was actually a rather experienced guy -- businessman and governor of a major state, but the media convinced everyone he was dumber than a box of rocks and totally incapable of governing, yet he was re-elected and life went on. BO had no experience in anything remotely resembling president, but we are still here -- true, America is dead and we live in BOistan, but most of the country lost complete track of what "America" even was, so as long as TV, sports, the internet and a few other distractions are there, they really don't care.

It is hard for me to imagine anyone not being so sick of Hildebeast that they would vote against her just to be certain that they don't need to see much of her and lecherous Slick anymore. Moore seems to sense that though -- and Trump is a hell of a "protest vote". This is the effect I suspect is going to make it a landslide for Trump -- he is WAY more personally appealing than Hildebeast. My guess is that she will refuse to debate him, but that is going to be REAL hard for the media to spin as anything but a loss -- and if she does debate him, I think it is over for sure.

Anyway, it is worth a read. Moore is the kind of smug elite that will be REALLY pissed if Trump is elected -- which is a darned good reason to support Trump right there!

I did send in my $75 to him -- so I'm an official "Trumpkin". I'm not "fired up" yet, but I suspect I will be by the time October rolls around.

Trump Is Crazy, People Are Crazy, Or?

Donald Trump Is Crazy, and So Is the GOP for Embracing Him | The Weekly Standard:

I have no idea how sane or intelligent Trump is, but we need at least SOME perspective here. If someone wants to question health and sanity, Hildebeast seems to be turning into a bobble head.

Sure, I agree that Trump's comments yesterday are COMPLETELY out of "the norm" for a presidential candidate, but they are frequent enough, and he seems sane enough to make me wonder if he isn't on to something.

The fact is that the National Enquirer has been in business for a long time and sells a lot of papers. MANY people claim to be abducted by aliens, and some studies put it as high as 5-6% of the population which would make it WAY more prevalent than transgender ( < 1% ). I think there is a big movie out this weekend that is about a spaceship and crew that has been around for 50 years in various guises, and none of it is real. Who exactly is it that is the authority on "US public sanity"?

It isn't JUST the Enquirer. How sane is it really for a major US news anchor to lose his job (Dan Rather) and creditability  trying to peddle fake documentation about how good or bad a fighter pilot a sitting president was 30 years prior? How sane or intelligent are the people that cared about the story?

Did we REALLY have a special prosecutor for three and one half YEARS to "investigate" if a CIA "agent" who drove into the office at Langley every day had been "outed"? How can a people that are supposed to be self governing allow that to happen? During WARTIME!

So what might it be that he is doing?

My theory is that he may actually be trying to "Make America Sane Again". I've pointed out that the left runs a total sideshow every campaign season on Saturday Night Live, late night shows, and the general media. Do you really think it is an "accident" that "prospective first lady speech plagiarism" was a "big story" during the week of the RNC when both Biden and BO had past issues with plagiarism? I don't -- but the MSM expects us to, and to COMPLETELY forget about Biden and BO.

The primary thing Trump does is fog up "The Party's" (TP-D) constant outlandish narrative about what everyone is supposed to be thinking and talking about. He short circuits the MSM to keep his name at the front all the time. Sure, they may be completely certain that what they are saying about him is negative, but is there really anyone left in BOistan that believes the MSM? Gallup says that 4 in 10 prisoners in BOistan trust the media ... so if the media HATES Trump and 60% of BOistan inmates think the media is full of shit, then how "insane" is he really?

It is impossible to repeat enough that we are NOT rational, we are RATIONALIZING -- we make ALL decisions with our feelings, we just "think" that we make them "logically". People who have lost access to their emotions due to brain injury are completely unable to make decisions! Our left brain acts as a "lawyer" trying to make "the case" for the decision that the right brain made using emotion!

A nation with something like $140 TRILLION in unfunded liabilities and debt that thinks that "Global Warming" is a significant problem even though it has been going on for the last 10 thousand years? The president and leading candidate for the dominant political party dare not say "Islamic Terrorism" even when attackers are screaming their allegiance to ISLAMIC State and yelling Allah Akbar! as they carry out attacks on a regular basis. The percentage of BOistan inmates with jobs is lower than what America had back in the "sick seventies" when Jimmuh Carter was being attacked by swimming rabbits ...

BUT, to point out any of this is branded by TP and it's media as "dark".  TP is used to being able to tell the WHOLE narrative and have vast majorities at least tacitly buy into their spin. Trump has at least caused there to be "another identifiable narrative". Is it "true"? Narratives never are purely "true or false" -- they are STORIES, human understandable stories that involve emotion.

We KNOW the BOistan story backwards and forwards now. BO and the government are great and good, we thank them for our daily bread and the margin of security they deem we deserve. We bow to their wishes and gladly accept that they and loyal TP people are above the law. There is no law but TP, and BO is it's current messenger, and we will gladly bow and scrape on bended knee to have Hildebeast for our jailer for the next term. Yea, though there exist evil people who lie to us about gods higher than BO or Hildebeast, we will not listen -- we love thinking as we are told to think and will listen to nothing else!!!

The Trump story may be a complete lie, but it is different. He harkens back to "America" -- a place where GOD was NOT the government, nor the ruling potentate. A place were given personal responsibility and HARD WORK,  **YOU** could make something of **YOURSELF**! The answer to everything was not "a government program". America was actually EXCEPTIONAL -- it was something to be REVERED! It's Constitution and ideas had MEANING -- they were not supposed to be torn down and "changed" so someone could "hope" that something decent might pop up by accident!

When you are faced with a problem -- say a serious spinal injury as a "random thing", one way to "handle it" would be to lay back and "hope" that "somebody" came up with something to "fix it". Maybe "stem cells", or some miracle technology.

OR ... you could get busy trying to make as much progress as you possibly could with what you have left. Sure you will need resources and assistance, but the FOCUS is on SELF MOTIVATION and  HARD WORK!

We have generally slipped so far as a nation that a very significant portion of the country are happy prisoners of BOistan and are waiting for someone to "fix it" from Washington. In any case, they are not responsible -- and afraid that Trump might actually be "demanding", as in "putting the country back to work". They would rather be taken care of --

Sure, we lost America and fell into BOistan -- and it may well be that Trump is a complete charlatan. However, we KNOW what BOistan is about -- turning over ALL our individual character, gumption, dreams, futures, etc to our jailers, and continuing to give them greater and greater power to do whatever they want to us with more and more force.

What we have here are extreme differences in world view -- and to the "other side", each side is "crazy".

Going To War Against Police

http://www.nationalreview.com/article/437703/the-war-on-cops-racism-allegations-are-largely-non-factual?utm_source=NR&utm_medium=facebook&utm_campaign=July13Sowell

The column  by Sowell is excellent. One of the things I hear on NPR quite frequently is how pretty much the whole criminal justice system is a racist plot to lock up blacks, and the "crack cocaine" narrative is one that comes up a lot.
The cold fact, however, is that black political and community leaders, back in the 1980s, spearheaded the drive for more severe legal penalties against those who sold crack cocaine. Black congressman Charlie Rangel of Harlem was just one of those black leaders who urged these more severe penalties. So did the New York Times, the promoter of many crusades on the left.
They had a very good reason to push for stronger measures -- crack was KILLING their communities! Naturally, it "wasn't their fault" ... the common black narrative was that crack cocaine was created by the CIA specifically to kill blacks. Strangely, it was ABORTION that was specifically intended to kill blacks (and other "inferiors" according to Margaret Sanger, one of Hildebeast's heroes), and it has done a hell of a job!

One of the other HUGE items used to make the case for "racism' everywhere from schools to criminal stats is "disparate impact". Blacks are stopped, incarcerated, expelled from school, etc, etc at higher rates than whites when you understand their percentage of the population.

 Consider this:
Although many people regard these “disparate-impact” statistics as evidence, or virtually proof, of racial discrimination, suppose that I should tell you that black basketball players are penalized by NBA referees out of all proportion to the 13 percent that blacks are in the American population.
Do you suspect that the NBA is penalizing based on race? Oh, but wait, the percentage of blacks playing in the NBA is WAY over 13%, and if you count the stars on the floor the most -- thus likely to be penalized the most, it often approaches 100%. Does the fact that black players in the NBA are penalized at a FAR higher rate than one would expect in the general population tell you anything about racism?

The amazing thing to me about the war on police however is not statistical ignorance, it is how government officials are piling on the bandwagon -- Governor Goofy here in MN and the mayor of Minneapolis have both come out against the police.

So is going to war against our own police force a great idea? How about the National Guard? "Which side" / "tribe", etc are we thinking that THEY are on?

I don't believe the left is "just stupid". Yes, I understand it is an election year, so they want to fan the flames of racism and black anger as much as possible to elect the Hildebeast, but do they REALLY want to go after the POLICE! The Police are the 3rd most respected institution left in the US  politicians and the media are near the bottom. Who are you going trust? Your local police force,  Governor Goofy, or the Red Star Trib?

Most of the officers would rather shoot Governor Goofy or some reporter from the Strib than your average black on the street BEFORE the current attacks from the elite on the police.

So if the police decide they would rather shoot your sorry TP elite asses than guard them, who ya going to call? The Black Panthers?

Broke Bank Billion, Viking Tradition

Broken window at U.S. Bank Stadium could take two months to fix - StarTribune.com:

Hopefully the roof won't collapse on this one like it did on the Humpty.

Seems like building a billion dollar glass house with windows that take 6-8 weeks to replace in a climate with 150 degree temp swings could be thought out a bit more --- but then, there WAS the Herschel Walker trade, so I guess maybe the "Viking tradition lives on!".

Melania Trump Pases the VP Test!

Republican National Convention: Scrutiny of Melania Trump’s speech follows plagiarism allegations - The Washington Post:

I didn't realize that Melania Trump wanted to be qualified to be VP, but apparently it is so. The surrealism of a MSM gone berserk trying to decide if standard phrases used by politicians in speeches forever "work hard, look them in the eye, your word is your bond, do what you say ...." ... "Mom, apple pie and Chevrolet" counts as "plagiarism".

If so, we may never need to listen to another political speech again -- which, considering that we live in a Fascist state, "What difference, at this point, does it make?". Without tied old boilerplate phrases, politics would be the "sounds of silence".

You want to understand plagiarism better? Ask Joe Biden, he  is an EXPERT!

So according to Democrats an the media, Melania is now qualified to be VP! That was certainly nice of them!

Oops ... looks like Mooch "stole" it too -- if you REALLY want to count using "standard political boilerplate" as "plagiarism" at least.

We know what "The Party" and the media wants for an answer -- "plagiarism for me, not for thee" ... and they often do get the sheep to buy into that. Do people REALLY care about this???

Praising BO, Hero of Our Times

With Obama, the Personal Is Presidential - The New York Times:

We know that the left LOVES BO, and this NY TImes paen lets them count the ways.
Historical comparisons will be kind to him. You respect John F. Kennedy for his flair and wit, but wince at how he hurt his wife through numerous affairs. You admire Lyndon B. Johnson for his courage in civil rights, but are appalled at how bathroom-level bawdy he was in private. You appreciate Ronald Reagan for his charm and friendships across the aisle, but can’t ignore how dysfunctional his family was. Under Richard Nixon, the White House was a crime scene. Under Bill Clinton, it was a place of monumental self-indulgence.
Jimmy Carter, HW and W Bush are somehow missing from this rather odd comparison -- JFK's many affairs were completely unknown for DECADES. One has to be a bit of a "historian" to care at this point. Slick Willie was indeed a monument of self-indulgence, and if "lying to the American people" were still considered a crime as it was in Nixon's time, his White House was just as much a "crime scene".

But none of this really matters, the NY Times sees BO as heroic. As they say, "he is a model" ...
He’s a model, without asterisk for race. It’s a hard thing to go nearly eight years as the most powerful man in the world without diminishing the office or alienating your family. He’s done that, and added a dash of style and humor and a pitch-perfect sense for being consoler in chief.
BO has trampled the Constitution, presided over the worst recovery since WWII, divided the nation by race, religion and class, used the IRS to attack his "enemies", drawn "red lines in crayon", made deals with the Iranians that even the NY Times admits are "shams", but he has not in their minds "diminished the office".

He is indeed a model, but a model of what exactly? The standard hero of America was the Cowboy -- men of few words, hard work, self-reliance, a strong moral character and the manliness to back it up -- quickly and violently if required. BO is no Cowboy.

No, BO is the unruffled, confident bureaucrat, "No Drama Obama". He is the prototype for the modern totalitarian state. Very smooth, very calculating, no scruples, all power. We knew from the beginning that he sees himself as "The One" -- to command the oceans to stop rising, to wrest the Bibles and the guns from the "bitter clingers", that pre-BOistan that revered the now hated "Cowboy". Even the anti-hero cowboys like Clint Eastwood characters believed in character, God and judgement.

It is true that BO accomplished nothing and the Times didn't try to claim he did -- BOcare is in shambles, on life support. It further damaged the middle class, which was it's goal. What used to be the "lower middle class" is voting for Trump. They are the remnants of the "bitter clingers", BO and the NY Times hope the rest of them commit suicide one way or another, as they are in an orgy of addiction and hopelessness that far exceed the AIDs death toll. Nobody cares -- gays were part of the great left wing narrative, libertinism as "freedom". Freedom as in freedom FROM morals, not as in freedom TO build character and moral fibre.

In BOistan, all is "narrative" -- a dead black two year old doesn't matter, nor really do the police lives. "Collateral damage" -- hundreds of young black men die every year in BO's own "native" Chicago, he is really a "citizen or the world", their lives don't advance his cause, so they don't matter.

As they closed the article ...

If the words have sometimes failed him and us, the man, in his personal behavior, has not.

That is our new form or hero -- smooth, always urbane, always on the TP party line. "Accomplishment" is so "old America", it BOistan it is all about image -- BOistan heroics don't need no stinkin "accomplishments" -- he destroyed a nation and created a tribal hell hole. What more of a "hero" do you really want for the post-truth, post-law, post-morals, post-meaning world?

BO is the man for "our times" ... at least the NY Times.

BOistan Raises Asherha Poles, Honors Moloch

100 Sheroes Just Posed Nude At The Republican National Convention:

We are living in primitive times -- Old Testament times. We can just walk the streets and see the primitive tattoos and piercings that would be at home in any pagan tribe that has existed on the planet in the past few thousand years.

When the Israelites came into Canaan, the worship of the goddess Asherha was in full swing, and sacrifice to Moloch of children was the order of the day. Just like today -- with 60 million babes slaughtered in their mother's wombs, while the female body is used and abused as it was before the rise of civilization. God spoke to the Jews and the Judaeo Christian West and made it possible for women to become far more than they had ever been in history.

I don't think this "courageous act" would be very well received by  our "trusted friends" in Iran -- but never matter, Hildebeast is fine with that.

During the shoot, the diverse, undressed subjects each held a large, round mirror above their head. Reflecting the earth and sun and sky, as well as the fleshy forms of the manifold women around them, the mirrors spoke to the communal power of womanhood, a force almost supernatural in its strength. As Tunick explained in a statement: “The mirrors communicate that we are a reflection of ourselves, each other, and of, the world that surrounds us. The woman becomes the future and the future becomes the woman.”
Ah, the "communal power", ALMOST supernatural ... but not quite. It's all about US ... as a group maybe, but US -- we are "almost god" ... but since there is no GOD, then naked women with mirrors is a super substitute.

If ever a nation begged to be smitten by God, it is BOistan. Nazi Germany was an amateur at evil with a mere 6 million Jews slaughtered -- 1/10th our evil. I regularly accept that as a sinful person, I deserve the judgement of God, but beg forgiveness with the hope that my sinfulness will be covered by the blood of Christ. (communion)

BOistan is already a place of suffering and we will see MUCH greater suffering. The Lord giveth and the Lord taketh away; Blessed be the name of the Lord!

Black Two Year-old Doesn't Matter

Soucheray: A cloudy day to bury a toddler who deserved only sunshine – Twin Cities:

Take the time to go off and read this one -- it is powerful. Those of us in the Upper Midwest have been inundated with the canonization of Philando Castile. We've had 5 dead officers in Dallas and three more in Baton Rouge last night,  no doubt partially as a result of that narrative and the force with which it has been thrust on the increasingly compliant and mindless mobs in this increasingly violent camp of BOistan.

Like the 60 million babes murdered in their mothers wombs, the 2 year old in the casket killed in black on black violence does not matter. Obviously Philando Castile's life DOES matter -- it is significantly responsible for the exchange of the lives of 8 officers who dedicated their lives to "serve and protect".

We still know VERY little about the police side of the Castile shooting -- my level of "trust" for "right-wing" news is similar to my level of trust for the MSM -- meaning that I demand multiple sources before I come close to any level of belief in the facts of the matter.

The MSM and the conservative agree that Castile had A LOT of interaction with traffic police. Like being stopped 46 times with $6K in fines. Naturally, the MSM wants to make that the fault of "racism", but one might also call it the fault of "government" -- all the licenses, insurance requirements, pollution requirements, etc, etc add to problems for the poor, the addicted, the not very dedicated to following rules, etc.

Like a lot of things in this world, it's a trade-off -- more highway safety means more restrictions on who can drive and when. The liberal utopia would have completely regulated safe rules along with complete subsidy for everyone to comply as needed -- but some people are just a little to lax or love "the weed" a bit too much to even avail themselves of all the "benefits" of the government teat.

As you see in this NPR Article ...
Many times, both Gonzalez Van Cleve and Sandvick agree, the system leaves citizens with no good choices — having to pick, for instance, whether to pay a fine or pay for car insurance.

No doubt NPR will arrive at the OBVIOUS idea that what is needed is federal car insurance for "those who can't pay"! Fine forgiveness for people below a certain income?

LOTS of people are dying -- here and around the world due to the policies of BO. The fact that nobody cares about most of them doesn't make them less dead. 'via Blog this'

Trump and The Johnson Amendment

When Trump says he wants to expand religious freedom, he doesn’t know what he’s talking about - The Washington Post:

I got to listen to Mr Trump a bit on NPR the other day, a RARE opportunity to hear anything other than the specific soundbite they have selected in their unbiased fashion to BEST represent him! You KNOW you can trust NPR, they are funded by taxes and they are a 501c3 organization, meaning that they NEVER either endorse or oppose anything political!

Trump discussed removing "The Johnson Amendment" which I had never heard of, so here it is:

"in order to keep its 501(c)(3) status, a charitable organization may "not participate in, or intervene in (including the publishing or distributing of statements), any political campaign on behalf of (or in opposition to) any candidate for public office."
Simple. Churches are under exactly the same rules as NPR which is not only a 501c3, but tax funded (so even more rigorously restricted!) Universities are under exactly the same rule -- the Sierra Club is a 501c3 which makes no endorsements -- only here is their web page endorsing Hillary Clinton

Here is some detail on the Johnson Amendment including why it is so good -- because it applies EQUALLY to those secular organizations and the religious ones.
... the Johnson Amendment applies equally to religious and non-religious organizations. Secular universities and animal shelters, no less than churches, will lose their special tax status if they specifically endorse or oppose political candidates.
Stalin stated the obvious relative to voting -- it is meaningless, what is important is the COUNTING, who counts the votes?

"The Party" (TP-D) understands this relative to "justice" and "the law" as well. "The Johnson Amendment" (TJA) applies to exactly whom TP decides it applies to! You holding your breath for the Sierra Club or NPR to be prosecuted? I hope not, it isn't going to happen! Did you pay any attention to how the laws of the land were applied to Hildebeast? The only "law" remaining in this land is TP save for the armed populace.

That was why our founders declared in the first amendment that congress SHALL NOT pass ANY law abridging the rights of religion and speech. The IRS is one big hammer for TP punish their enemies and reward their friends. Our founders realized that government was INHERENTLY corrupt, so they wanted to LIMIT it -- that is why you see things like NO LAW and SHALL NOT!

So we have exercises in insanity like this from the WaPo linked at the top.
... Article VI leaves no room for misunderstanding: “no religious test shall ever be required as a qualification to any office or public trust under the United States.” Anyone who cannot abide that standard has no business swearing to “preserve, protect and defend” the Constitution itself (Article II).
So deciding that Evangelical churches ACTUALLY ought to be treated like NPR, universities, the Sierra Club, Black Churches, etc, etc is a "religious test for qualification for office"??? Hello? See, TRUMP doesn't "know what he is talking about"! Why can't organizations be tax exempt merely because they are not PROFIT MAKING? It seems to be working pretty darned well for NPR, all the major universities and all the black churches who can say any damned thing they want as long as it passes the muster of TP!

Did you REALLY need to see Hildebeast "cleared" explicitly because she WAS Hildebeast to realize that there is no "blind lady justice with scales" in this country?  The Democratic Party (TP)  **IS** the "law", and things like TJA are how they enforce it upon who they wish and fail to enforce it where they don't

My fervent hope is that Trump will KEEP TALKING -- each and every day I realize more and more of just how TP managed to destroy America and create BOistan.

I have no idea if it is remotely possible to resurrect America, but let's at least put some lights on the walls and prison guards of BOistan!

Ginsburg Spins Head, Endorses Trump

Travesty of a Justice - WSJ:

I think I'm beginning to be able to understand why Scalia spent time in the company of Ginsburg -- it is similar to the reason that God was spending time with Satan and talking about Job in the book of Job.

God fully understands evil, "honest evil" is part of the physical universe -- there has to be darkness for there to be light, pain for there to be pleasure, death for there to be life. My belief is that the sin in the garden suddenly made perfect spiritual creation physical -- the physical requires the opposites. God IS ... ALL, the closest I can come to an analogy is everything is "running on God" as in a "simulation" of "life the universe and everything", but what we consider to be "more real" as in physical, computable, "empirical" is really FAR more **FALSE** -- see CS Lewis "The Great Divorce" for some thoughts on this vision.

Ginsburg  no doubt is very sad that Sotomayor has taken her place as the darling of the left, and thus decided to make it clear that she has no respect for keeping of the illusion of being "above politics" which is a thin remaining fig leaf of "equal treatment" left in the minds of some. The age of BO shows us clearly that there can be NO "rules / traditions / procedure / precedent / etc" that are "honored"  by the left. Indeed, the very concept of "honor" is to be laughed at and derided by those who claim POWER.  Thus:
“I can’t imagine what this place would be—I can’t imagine what the country would be—with Donald Trump as our president,” she said. “For the country, it could be four years. For the court, it could be—I don’t even want to contemplate that.”
It reminded her of something her husband, Martin D. Ginsburg, a prominent tax lawyer who died in 2010, would have said.
“‘Now it’s time for us to move to New Zealand,’ ” Justice Ginsburg said, smiling ruefully.
BOistan as it exists today is much MORE "unimaginable" than an America with Trump as president  for those of us in the small remnant that still cares about God, Family, culture and other old tired ideals of the nation that was once exceptional. For us, there is no "New Zealand", because the exceptional "shining light on a hill" that was America has been destroyed already. As painful as it would be for Ruth Vader, it is unlikely that Trump could even move it back to where it was at the start of BO's sorry reign if he was SURPRISINGLY effective -- assuming he actually wants to "Make America Great Again".

This election is "take a walk on the wild (unknown) side with Trump" vs "Kneel before Satan and his demons, abandon all hope and worship the Hildebeast!". Ruth apparently spun her head and it came up "Hidebeast".

When evil starts cackling, it does tend to rather cackle on ...
“I’d love to see Citizens United overturned.” In that 2010 First Amendment case, the Federal Election Commission unsuccessfully claimed it had the authority to criminalize the distribution of a film critical of Hillary Clinton, whom Ginsburg has now implicitly endorsed for the presidency.
Yes, the FEC ought to be in charge of what political speech should be allowed. Speech as "free" as government bureaucrats decree. I'm certain that the Hildebeast court would be happy to make  death by slow torture the law of the land for any speech that offends the Hildebeast.

It seems that reality is SCREAMING to **VOTE TRUMP**!!!!!! at the very top of it's lungs. Maybe I'll go look at the actual green vomit Ruth Vader chose to spew in the Times after spinning her head like a whirly bird a few times for effect.

She told us as effectively as she could that a Hildebeast SCOTUS would a happy, open and direct part of "The Party" (TP-D).
So, to sum up: Ginsburg, in an on-the-record interview, took political positions on the presidential election and a Senate confirmation, indicated that she intends in future cases to vote to curtail constitutional rights, and violated the secrecy of the Supreme Court conference room.
I'm guessing that after the secrecy of the SCOTUS conference, she would really LOVE to get TOTALLY rid of "Patient Doctor" and "Priest / Confessor" as old tired ideas of "privacy".

Let's face it, TP wants your SOUL -- and what is "privacy" when your very soul is possessed in an intimate relationship with Pazouzu?

God's Plans

Marla and I received a stern reminder of the old saw "If you want to make God laugh, just tell him your plans" Saturday evening I was off doing some volunteer work and rode my motorcycle home arriving around 8:20 with smoked ribs on my mind. No Marla in the house -- figured she was on the deck, but when I exited the sliding back door I heard her screaming like I've never heard her before.

I rounded the corner next to the firepit and there she was laying face down with her chin on the second small set of steps, her legs out and her arms crumpled beneath her. "I can't move, I've been here quite awhile, nobody could hear me".

Dialing 9-11 seemed to be in slow motion, making SURE they knew about MANOR COURT NORTH WEST vs just "Manor Court",  seemed like running through molasses in January. I'm guessing it was 10 min before they arrived, but it seemed like an hour or more -- I heard sirens almost immediately, my bad hearing amplified by nerves had me thinking that they were pulling up when they were crossing the bridge on 52 a mile away.

We both knew that I couldn't move her -- no feeling in her extremities, but feeling on her back. Lots of blood, but I knew not a life threatening amount. Since the front of her skull was directly against a concrete step, I wondered if the paralysis was due to brain injury rather than spinal, but she was conscious and completely cogent, so it was hard for my addled brain to make sense of it.

The EMTs and firetrucks arrived, she was loaded up and we headed for St Mary's level 1 trauma center where a team of 15+ masked and gowned specialists received her and I was ushered to a waiting room to wait for the first support to arrive. My brain was flooded with fear of still sudden death due to some bleed inside the brain, would we sell the house to deal with her being a quadriplegic? I needed to get rid of those motorcycles!  Too risky! Why wasn't I at home??? !!!

Five days later, my brain still has some of those thoughts, even though the belief is that her prognosis is excellent. When she hit the step with her chin she hyper-extended her neck backward ("whiplash"), fortunately "bruising" or "compressing"  rather than tearing or severing her spinal cord. She was startled by an old firework in a supposedly spent cake that she used to start a fire in our fire-pit going off and "just tripped" as she ran. Had the cord been bruised a bit more, her ability to breathe would have been suspended and she would have died -- as she would have if it had been severed at that level of the spine.

She underwent spinal column surgery last Sunday for 5 hours to make more room for the spinal cord and to fuse the vertebrae to better protect this area that was weak from childhood. She has had one of us with her in ICU since she was admitted since she is unable to push the nurse button. She now DOES have feeling in her hands and feet, major muscle movement on both sides, good toe movement on the left, SOME on the right, a little finger movement on the left, and a TINY bit on the right.

Recovery is likely to be very long. She got out of the ICU yesterday and "3 weeks" is considered an optimistic estimate for when she might be able to come home. Getting back to typing and other skills with her fingers is nearly certainly farther off than that.

She sold her Harley 3 weeks ago because it as too risky -- she nearly died on our patio next to our pond, a spot that I use in my mind as my "happy place"... a  "safe and calming place" to deal with anxiety. This universe is not ours -- human control and power are ALWAYS illusions. Either Trump or Hillary could trip walking down some steps, break their neck, and be gone in a few minutes -- or stroke, heart attack, car crash, plane crash -- the list is completely endless. Worse, any of us, or those we love could do the same. We don't make those decisions.

Do I literally think God might "laugh"? Sort of.  God knows how mundane all of what happens in the mortal coil other than coming to Gods Grace and redemption through Christ is. We are also created in his image, so we know that he has something like "humor".

I personally think our consciousness is traveling but one of MANY timelines, only one of which we "see" in what seems like the single path of this mortal life.  Since it was a "freak accident", maybe on nearly all of the paths, it never happened, or there was a much lesser injury, etc.. On some smaller set of even smaller paths, she died and I'm going to her funeral today or before the end of the week. Perhaps on "1" or a really tiny number, I died in a motorcycle crash on the way home and she is heading on with her recovery without me, or on another, the world is heading on without either of us because I died in a motorcycle accident the same night she stopped breathing due to a spinal injury. "What are the odds of that?" ... well, what are the odds we ever met at all?

In that case, no doubt a number of people on that timeline would be crying at our funerals (more for her than for me), but Marla and I would know the truth and understand that eternity is all that matters, and whatever the worst that life gives you is, next to eternity and THE TRUTH (Christ), the worst this world has to dish out is much less than the medical profession bills as  "just a little bee sting" or "you will feel some pressure now" ...

I believe we have FAR LESS than "no idea" on these things -- "free will", "predestination", the power of the creator of the universe, etc. "Far less" means that all of our ideas about "fate", "God's will", "Why do bad things happen to good people", etc. are likely so wrong as to make the worst description of a Saturn IV Moon Rocket internal operations by a tribesman in the bush somewhere seem like revealed genius by comparison. Just pause and consider the difference in knowledge scale between "all knowing" and any of our pitiful brains, even rolled into one!

I don't believe that God "wills" such things as happened to Marla, but he allows "free will" in the universe, which I see as a combinatorial explosion of uncountable pathways of "if". God is with us on all those paths, always seeking to save us -- he indeed knows all (since all the paths have happened, are happening, and always will happen) but we don't.

He DOES have a plan and it WILL be accomplished -- maybe even on "all the paths" for all I know, but like a parent letting a child learn to walk, he allows us to "go bump" in many many ways, even go through our "terrible twos" where everything must be OUR way!!! No matter how foolish and ridiculous that way is! Some of our "bumps", like Marla's, are just part of being a human living in a physical world marred by sin. It's like hauling 50 million gallons of shit in a fall pumping season -- maybe NONE of the 50 million is your shit, but you are still quite likely to "get some on you".

Of course, none of this dime store rambling "philosophy" or "theology", or more colloquially put "bullshit" means anything while waiting for the ambulance, or sitting with her at night while she is in pain, or watching her struggle to get her toes and fingers to move. Those are the moments that are what is "real" in the human physical sense that is what we call "life". We see through a lens VERY darkly, but we have faith that it all really does mean something SOMEHOW!

Sometimes the soul just cries out with feelings that are not expressible. She is a few feet away sleeping peacefully, THAT is a blessing beyond compare. Our boys, daughter in law and grandaughter visited us and are now home safely -- that is another blessing! Our Iowa family has rushed to our side and continues to. Our Rochester friends have already driven people to the cities multiple times, delivered food, visited, and are making themselves available. Our pastor brought us Communion in the ICU ... I could keep going on, but won't.

We like to kid ourselves that we have plans and control, but we don't . Life is learning to accept God's plan for our lives with the help of his Grace. It is ultimately a WONDERFUL plan, no matter how we might feel about it at a given point -- our goal is to accept that plan and accept that it is in fact God's plan and therefore wonderful. "Accepting" doesn't mean sitting back and saying "whatever" -- it means hard work, which Marla is FAR better than me, so has the best chance of recovering as far as is possible.

So please pray for us. It is always fine to pray for speedy 100% recovery. God knows that is very much what we want, especially for a specially loved person that constantly does everything for everyone else like Marla. But also pray that we can accept and find joy in God's will and plan in HIS time -- because ultimately, that is the only plan that counts,  no matter how hard that plan may be. I am just so thankful beyond words that I'm still living on a path WITH Marla ... "just" seeing her smile when Tula arrived is a gift beyond price.

Thanks to all who are praying, helping and caring -- perhaps that is "the reason" at some level.

It's Gods Plan, and God is Good -- ALL THE TIME!

Half Staff President

Ordering flags lowered for Dallas, Obama sets record:

BO has set another record! The flags at government buildings have been at half staff more during his administration than during any other. It is hard to imagine a more fitting record -- it would be even more fitting if the flags had been lowered to half staff when he took office and left there as decent Americans mourned the destruction of our Nation.

We elected a Luo Tribesman who had declared his desire to destroy the "colonial powers", and he has largely achieved his goals. We are torn by tribal strife, violence, and are completely at the mercy of our sensational media to instantly jump to the most sensational and upsetting conclusions before any facts at all have been presented.

Our flags are at half staff on the way to being lowered forever.

Iraq, Saddam, Trump, What You Should Think Now

Trump, Saddam and why people mistrust the media - The Washington Post:

It's time for a "reset" on Iraq it seems, and Hildebeast has spoken, so WaPo wants to make it clear that any confusion is the "fault of the media".

Trump thinks it was a mistake to go into Iraq and depose Saddam:
"Iraq used to be: No terrorism," Trump said. "He would kill the terrorists immediately. Now it's Harvard for terrorism."
Trump has consistently said that W made a horrible mistake when he went into Iraq. MANY "sources", including Hildebeast have agreed with that position MANY times -- "Saddam was a stabilizing force", "Al Qaeda wasn't wasn't in Iraq until W attacked", etc.

My view, Tony Blair's view, and W's was and is that Saddam and his sons were ruthless killers, willing to bargain with ANYONE that they thought to their advantage including al-Zarqawi, who was in Iraq in 2003 -- Saddam and family would have gotten a along well with Hildebeast or BO for that matter. Just like the Iranians.

However, we just hit a "reset":
So what was different last night? Clinton's campaign said it was different. In Politico, we learn that Trump's Hussein praise "finally caught up with him" because "Hillary Clinton's campaign tore into his latest comments." NBC News notes that Trump said this at a rally with Sen. Bob Corker (R-Tenn.), which could lead to a clash and some awkward questions; otherwise, the only new thing is that "Hillary Clinton's campaign seized the opportunity to once more paint Trump as unfit for office."
When you are the candidate of "The Party" (TP-D), the TP media dances to your tune -- if you say "Deposing Saddam was a good idea" -- then dammit, IT WAS! Now you said the opposite before, anx naturally W is STILL WRONG / stupid, etc  -- that part didn't change, but Trump is VERY wrong, and whatever was said before is down the memory hole. Get your stinkin minds right you little people -- HILDEBEAST HAS SPOKEN!

But as WaPo points out, people DO get "confused". They vaguely remember that "going into Iraq was a TERRIBLE idea" -- and "Bush LIED", so somehow they were supposed to think that "lying is bad and Saddam was at least OK". Now here comes Trump that spouts just what TP and Hildebeast used to spout, but THEN, "Crooked Hillary" changes her mind! Right at the same time that even the director of the FBI says that she LIED ( A **LOT** ), but now lying is OK cuz Hildebeast does it, and nobody is going to prosecute her cuz she is Hildebeast -- and other people aren't.

So now "Bush who LIED" and made a horrible mistake by going into Iraq actually did a GOOD thing! Cuz crooked lying Hildebeast assured us that Saddam was BAD, and needed to be removed.

Well, as WaPo points out, it just gets confusing to "the little people" -- and that MUST be "the media's fault"!

And that is the way it is in BOistan today!

Little Weed In The Car, Four Lavishly Dead In "Shy-Ka-Go"

Explosive Video of Minnesota Police Shooting Gets Worldwide Attention | Power Line:

I'm an old enough fool to remember when "Four Dead In O-High-O" was a BIG DEAL!

See, over the 4th weekend, 64 were shot in Chicago, of which 4 died -- I'm not going to go to the racial profiling, but I think we all know what color most of them were. Their lives don't matter, they didn't fit the narrative.

I got to listen to about 30 min of the "special coverage" from MPR today -- somehow they didn't mention "the little weed in the car", nor the officer being "Chinese". I could swear the Chinese were used as "Coolies" or virtual slave labor in the West during the 1800's, but I must be wrong -- apparently the officers ancestors where racist Chinese "crackers" -- somehow I don't remember that many Chinese slaveholders from "Gone With the Wind", but I'm sure they were in there.

The MAIN thing that we ought all realize is that NOBODY knows a damned thing about this incident! MPR has the name of Philando Castile canonized beyond human standards, Philandro being the greatest human paragon to ever draw breath, gunned down in cold blood over a broken taillight. Jamar Clark was similarly wonderful -- and remains so in the minds of many in the media and black community. Beating women is OK in some cases.

Anyone with the tiniest bit of independent thought is totally aware of the fact that the bulk of the public is yet again being played like marionettes, with social media allowing the current simulacrum shadows of humanity to bleat in unison of how "shocked, saddened, outraged, etc" they all are at this certain miscarriage of "justice". Why BO himself, protector of serial liar Hildebeast, whose FBI flunky was up before Congress today (though nobody cares) is due to tell the wool bearers what are to be thinking this evening. The concept of "justice" and BO being uttered in any context gives surrealism a bad name.

In an age where even some tiny percentage of the public had even small shreds of "common sense", or "perspective" -- elements utterly missing from discourse today, nobody would be rushing to any sort of conclusions on the basis of a calm girlfriend named "Lavish" doing the play by play by play while her boyfriend bled to death in front of her. We have yet to hear word one from the "Chinese" officer -- though the court of media and our vaunted leader have made up the minds of the clueless already.

Hey we are supposed to KNOW that they were "doing nothing wrong" -- "just a little weed in the car" you know? Heck, even BO was prone to a "lot of booze and weed, a little blow, but no smack"  (as discussed in his first autobiography) -- and we ALL know that "he is cool".

The KEY here is that we are all to learn to be TOLD "What difference, at this point, does it make"???  We are all assumed to be so docile and stupid that we are ready to bleat whatever our "betters" tell us, and ignore everything else!

It appears that for something over 80% of the nation -- that is the sorry state of what used to be independent "Americans". Gone -- and forgotten by most.

America -- bled to death under BO, nobody even cared.
